Show
time in Taipei!! Saturday night in Taipei,
August 04 2001. Held for the second year in a row, local clubs
put together a skating show for general exhibition held in
Taipei Central City. Around 150 skaters were involved
in the show and I was fortunate enough to be invited to
perform at the show and enjoy..
It was scorching outside, thankfully there was air-conditioning
in the stadium because it was capacity crowd with standing
room only and boy was it hot!! All the skaters were really
excited because they hadn't seen so many people before at a
skating event in Taipei and they were quite nervous, but put
on a great show..
Following the show, fans of the athletes were very
enthusiastic about meeting up with the skaters and it was
great to see. Alot of media attention surrounded the show
with regular slots on TV and posters around
town..

very big thankyou to all those in Taipei who were so helpful
and kind to me throughout my visit. Also a big thankyou to
Alex for bringing me to Taiwan. It was really great meeting
you all and seeing those I know once again. I hope to see
