Proudly announcing...

Skate Victoria Inc.
Supporting the i-Sk8r Program.

a Vic Health Partnership  for Health Scheme.

I am pleased to announce that Skate Victoria (State body for Roller Sports in Victoria) is now in full support of the i-Sk8r Program. Known as the 'interactive art class'. i-Sk8r will be the working name for the program as it soon transforms in to a physical class open to the public
for participation. The documentation online will also continue for a minimum of two years..

As a promotion for Artistic Roller Sports in Victoria, the i-Sk8r program will take place at the Caribbean RSC. It will service skaters who are expressing interest in furthering their skills once they have completed the Star Levels 1 - 4, for beginner skating. Adding an additional step prior to participating in 'private tuition'. The class will run as an 8wk structured semester.

I will be directing and implementing the program, whilst at the same time, I am happy to announce, and to introduce to you - RACHAEL YOUNG, whom I will be working closely with during the i-sk8r classes. Rachael is a former Aust.Team representative who competed at several world championships, and has extensive experience in coaching Roller Sports. Rachael is also a fully qualified school teacher. More news on the program soon.

Skate Victoria's, as a Vic Health Partnership for Health Scheme, have taken the initiative to show their support for development, in the way of providing funding to supply all the training equipment for both, on and off skate work as I document the progress of Edan & Tenielle, and run the physical class. As this program is going to be fully documented, and also made available in 'print' to distribute to Clubs throughout Victoria, and by mail to any other interested parties, Skate Vic are keen to show their support as it increases public awareness, athlete involvement, safety and growth.

In co-operation with the Artistic Branch of Skate Victoria, I am very excited as to the prospects this program holds for the future development of the grass roots levels of
both Inline figure skating and Artistic Roller Sports in Victoria, with the hope of it extending beyond, to benefit the sport Australia wide.

We would like to extend our thanks to Skate Vic.

And I look forward to sharing more exciting news & updates with you soon.
