Riva - in looking at his past achievements over four years
- this award is warranted alone. But to cap it off, Roberto
made his stunning debut on to the world scene at the 2002
World meet, winning no less that THREE GOLD MEDALS in the
three events he entered. |
| Champions
like Riva are rare, an equaled skill in both artistry
and technical ability - combined with the mastering of the
figures, Riva is a true great of Roller Sports. Riva's
achievement in 2002 has never before been achieved at a world
meet on a debut performance, this only having been done by
Italy's Chiara Satori in 1985, in which she went on to
do three years successively. |
| 2003
presents new challenges for Riva, although his year is off
to a good start with a triumphant win at the recent German
Cup. Riva is an outstanding talent and will continue to bring
the sport to new heights, together with the brilliance of his
trainer, Michele Terruzzi, together they will conquer the
