| Athlete
of the month: The United States - Joshua Rhoads |
Joshua
Rhoads made his world debut in 1997 at the Junior
World Championships in Reus, Spain with a bronze medal winning
performance. Josh then went on to winning the U.S Nationals
and has done again in 2002 fighting off some fierce
competition. Josh will compete in Wuppertal at this years
World Senior championships. Joshua's
success doesn't stop there, he has (for those of you who don't
know him) been ranked amongst the Top 10 in the World
since 1997 with a No.3 ranking included and a Silver
medal at the World Games in 2001 held in Japan last
year. Joshua's popularity world wide is contributed to his
laid back approach and fun personality on the rink and also
know for his amazing choreography and spectacular footwork
(coached by Scott Cohen).

| Interests:
Well, I do
like to roller skate once in a while, but other than that, I
love to mountain bike, snowboard, water-ski, and inline skate.
Anything active. I also love to travel to different countries,
experience different cultures and ways of life. That's one of
the great things about skating. |
