of the month: Australia's Kristen Slade - World No.2 |
 Kristen
is of the top two female inline skaters in Australia for Inline
freeskaitng. She has also just won the silver medal for
Inline FS at the World championships in Murcia, Spain. Her efforts
at six World Championships have earned her Top ten
rankings in both figures and free skating in the Junior
divisions. Kristen has been
ranked amongst the Top 5 in the world on 3 occasions and has
achieved the highest ranking by and Australian skater at
Junior World level when she came 4th in singles in 1998 in
Bogota, Colombia.
Featured in the Geelong Times (2007), Slade tells of her near miss
chance of competing in Murcia due to injury and how losing her

Skating Club in Melbourne is now the 2004 World Silver
medallist for Inline Ladies free skating. |
